computer malfunction

hey guys atm i'm having trouble with my computer basically i was told by a dell person that i'll need a new hard drive but i'm still gonna try to format it before i go out a buy a new one so i'll be offline for a while at the moment i'm using our family comp and mine is the only comp that supports cod4 so hopefully won't take much time to install everything again but will need to start on lv 1 again Sad

finish with the formatting didn't need to activate vista again which is good cause don't have the code lol.Its funny when u format your comp u realise how much faster it runs without all the shit on it lol. Now i just to install cod4 add every1 on xfire and get going on getting to lv 2 Rolling Eyes

now on startup of cod4 screen goes blank changes the resolution and then my main monitor turns blue and then the computer turns off. I've install all the drivers i'm prety sure just wondering if any1 has any suggestions?

Dimension 8400 series
dual intel pentium 4 cpu 3.20 GHz
1gb ram
32 bit operating system service pack 1
vid card: RADEON X300/X550 Series Microsoft corporation
two monitors

hmmm well I've found that the blue screen i get is call a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) which gave me a address which made me thing it was to do with drivers but i updated all of them. all i know is that it only happens with gamems that connect to internet eg cod4 and battle field 2

any help please i'm lost Mad
